Sunflowers and tomatoes!
As the title of the post suggests as of today we have sunflowers and tomatoes! Nine of the sunflower plants have come through and we have seven little tomato plants so far. So exciting to see the first signs of life!
There's always something very exciting about seeing young vegetable plants first come out of the ground. I've used these same trays in the past and its a great way to get loads of plants going for the price of a seed package. The real trick is to save your seeds from last year and reuse them, so you don't have the expense of buying new seeds each year.
